Children Service At New Covenant UMC
Nursery Session - 12:00 AM - 1:30PM
At New Covenant UMC Ghanaian Church in Fairfield, OH, we provide weekly nursery services during Sunday morning worship for infants and toddlers aged two and under. Our nursery is a safe and caring environment, staffed by first aid and CPR-certified personnel trained in our Safe Sanctuaries policies. Parents can feel reassured as each child is registered upon arrival, with a contact number provided for updates during the service if necessary.
Our fully equipped nursery includes essential items like diapers, wipes, cribs, and toys to keep your little ones comfortable. To ensure personalized care, we request that parents label any personal items, such as blankets or cups, with the child’s name. Parents must sign out their child, completing the secure process.
Kids Worship - 11:30 AM - 12:00 NOON
Our vibrant Kids Worship celebration welcomes children from Pre-K through 5th grade to engage in age-appropriate worship and learning. Before joining our interactive Kids Worship Campfire Room, students sign in at the children’s check-in station in the Welcome Area. Here, they participate in worship activities and breakout learning groups tailored to their level of understanding.
At the end of the service, children are dismissed only to their designated parents or guardians, ensuring their safety. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate “Family Worship Sundays,” where families gather to worship together in the Sanctuary. To keep young ones engaged, “busy bags” filled with kid-friendly activities are available near the main sanctuary entrance.
