We Speak On Marital Issues

New Covenant United Methodist Church is committed to supporting couples in building strong, healthy, and lasting marriages. Our formal roles and obligations in this area include:

Premarital Counselling

  • Offer premarital counseling sessions to help couples prepare for marriage.
  • Provide guidance on communication, conflict resolution, financial management, and spiritual growth

Marriage Enrichments

  • Organize workshops, retreats, and seminars focused on enhancing marital relationships.
  • Offer resources and programs to help couples strengthen their bonds and address any challenges they may face.

Support Groups

  • Facilitate support groups for couples to share experiences, seek advice, and find encouragement from others.
  • Provide a safe space for couples to discuss marital issues and receive support from the church community.

MEN'S UNIQUE NEEDS

The Men’s Fellowship at New Covenant UMC is dedicated to addressing the unique needs and responsibilities of men through various roles and activities, including

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Organize Bible studies, prayer groups, and spiritual retreats to help men grow spiritually. Address men's unique spiritual needs and responsibilities through biblical teachings.

CONNECTING WITH OTHER MEN

Provide opportunities for men to connect with each other in small groups for accountability and spiritual growth. Foster a sense of brotherhood and mutual support among men in the church

SERVING THE CHURCH

Encourage men to serve in various church ministries and participate in community outreach projects. Mobilize men to use their talents and skills to support the church's mission and activities.

PROMOTING BIBLICAL VALUES

Promote biblical manhood and fatherhood, teaching men to love and honor their wives and families. Encourage men to uphold and live out biblical values in their daily lives.

OUTREACH

  • Organize outreach programs and events to address the needs of the local community.

VOLUNTEER SERVICE

  • Encourage church members to volunteer their time and skills in community service projects.

SUPPORT & ASSISTANCE

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals and families in need through the church’s benevolence fund and other resources.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

  • Develop and offer educational programs and workshops on topics such as financial literacy, job readiness, and health and wellness.
