Together, we can save lives

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know that 85% of breast cancer cases occur in women with no family history of the disease? While 15% develop in those with a family history, breast cancer is still the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women. And yes, men can also be affected by breast cancer.

As the Women’s Ministry of New Covenant United Methodist Church, we are dedicated to educating and raising awareness about breast cancer. Early detection is key to personal protection, and through education, we can reduce the number of breast cancer cases.
